Every Opportunity Is A Good Opportunity

the twins had their first experience with riding the city bus. we were down to one car , well besides Nathans "race car" which eats gas like crazy and doesn't have enough seats for all the kids so when our van needed to go to the shop the city bus was our source of transportation! i honestly have no problem with the city bus and we think its a great way to get around. believe it or not its quite peaceful and the kids loved the adventure, new people and just the new experience in its self.
i don't think the kids have ever rode without car seats so the freedom they experienced was definitely a big deal.
they loved holding on to the rails and daddy taught them a lot about how to use proper city bus etiquette lol. as elderly people came on they offered their seats first =)

i love sharing new experiences like this with the kids. a lot of kids have never rode the city bus and now days some kids wont even ride a school bus simply cause parents now days have enabled such spoiled behavior. but today the twins learned that it wasn't just a fun adventure but this is some families only source of transportation and that its a way save gas and carpool. in stead of being annoyed that we were stuck with out a car we decided to take a perfect opportunity like this and turn it into a learning experience! today we were blessed to ride the city bus!
