Hot Digity Dog

as most know i LOVE to cook. I'm always trying to find or create new ways to make my meals that add a twist and tang. so you can imagine how much fun i have with making cute meals for the kids. i always try to involve them in the cooking so i thought i would share this really creative way to make hotdogs and pasta.

i use whole wheat spaghetti and either turkey dogs or tofu dogs but you can use what you like. cute the dogs in bite size pieces and one by one stick the uncooked spaghetti through the dogs. i usually do about 6 or 7 pasta sticks per dog. also i usually cut the dog into smaller pieces and the pasta i usually break in half but its easier to see it the way i did in the picture below.

when your done you just put it in a pot of boiling water and cook until the pasta is done. drain the water and then you can serve tomato sauce or whatever else you like . i usually cook mine with some veggies and the mix it all with some freshly grated asiago cheese.

heres another way to cook them. i just poked the pasta in a row through a whole hotdog. we call them centipedes lol
